Mountain Biking in Paphos and Cyprus generally, is relatively new. In fact, so much so, that it is only in the last couple of years that people have been aware of Cyprus as a superb destination for all types of biking and we are now beginning to see cyclists from all across Europe come to enjoy the facilities we offer. As well as the rental of all types of bicycles, we offer a range of organized and bespoke bike rides, suitable for all ages and abilities. We have detailed below, some of our most popular, that are suitable for most people. We also have a range of rides for absolute beginners wishing to spend just an hour or so exploring Pafos, as well as a range for the more seasoned rider wishing to push themselves on some VERY tough climbs and technical rides. Please contact us for details of any other type of rides you do not see here and we will happily arrange something for you. Remember, our minimum group size is just TWO!
Ride Olympus
We collect you at 8 o'clock and drive to the ski club on Mt. Olympus. At 1951 meters the highest point in Cyprus offers breathtaking views across the island and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea. Our bike mechanic unloads the bikes from our trailer and gives them a final safety check while you receive a route briefing from one of our cycle guides. Once every one is ready we start our descent of Olympus, back towards Paphos. Our cycle guides lead the group with our support vehicle following at a discreet distance. This exciting ride is about 50 kilometres long and takes in all types of mountain biking: single track, sweeping forest trails, quiet country roads, gravel tracks and even ski pistes and rally stages!! On the way down we enjoy remote mountain villages, vast, beautiful pine forests, lush, green valleys and dramatic mountain scenery. The ride finishes at the picturesque 'Venetian Bridges' having descended approximately 1700 metres. Something for everyone!

Explore Akamas
We collect you from your hotel at 9 o'clock and drive the group to the remote village of Ineia, high in the Akamas Park. Our mechanic prepares the bikes while you receive a route and safety briefing. Our cycle experts will then ride with you through Ineia and the surrounding villages, on quiet country roads. After a few kilometres of exploring these timeless settlements we head onto sweeping gravel tracks for a gradual descent along a 15 kilometre ridge down to the west coast of the Akamas, enjoying stunning coastal views on the way. We head for the beaches at Lara for lunch and a swim. Here we can spend a little time studying the turtle conservation project, designed to protect the turtles that nest on these beaches. After lunch we ride at sea level, south to the edge of the Park on dirt tracks to the fishing village of Agios Georgious. This beautiful harbour marks the end of 35 kilometres of exciting mountain biking where we enjoy a well earned ice cream!

These two rides are just some examples of the dozen or so, varied routes we use for our organized bike rides. We have rides for all abilities ranging from gentle tours of Paphos on flat roads to grueling CLIMBS from sea level to the summit of Mt. Olympus on hand made race bikes! From day long, high altitude, technical forest rides to fun, coastal rides for children. (high levels of fitness/ ability are needed for SOME of our rides and we will assess your suitability for some of the more difficult routes).
