Mount. Olympus

Starting this spectacular cross country ride at the ski club, at just under 2000 metres above sea level, the highest point in Cyprus offers breathtaking views across the island and the surrounding Mediterranean Sea. Our mountain bike experts lead the group on a descent from Mt. Olympus along sweeping forest trails and quiet mountain roads, through beautiful, remote mountain villages, ancient farms and vineyards. The ride finishes at the picturesque Kelefos Venetian Bridge, having descended approximately 1700 vertical metres. A fantastic way to explore and experience the Troodos Forest Forest National Park. Something for everyone and truly superb mountain biking in Cyprus!

This ride is suitable for competent cyclists with a reasonable level of fitness. It's not technically hard but does involve a full day of riding much, of which is off road.

Ride Olympus price is €65.00 per person including mountain bike, mechanical back up, support car, group guide, lunch and photographs. Transport is FREE. Minimum age for this ride is 15 years.

Akamas Park

Starting this cross country tour in the remote village of Arodes, high in the Akamas Park, we get to explore and enjoy one of the last true remaining wilderness areas in Cyprus. The Akamas Park is synonimous with rugged scenery, isolated villages, stunning coastlines and rich wildlife. We start by riding through timeless rural villages before heading onto the ridge that is the back bone of the Akamas Penninsular. A gradual descent along 15 kilometres of forest trails rewards us with breathtaking views to both the Lara and Polis coasts before we head into the forests.

After a break, we head further along the ridge to the lighthouse at the very westernmost tip of Cyprus.

An exciting track then leads us down to the northern coast of the Akamas Park and we enjoy a ride back along the stunning cliff tops, veiwing clear blue seas and remote, rocky coves along the way. The ride finishes at the Baths Of Aphrodite.

This ride is suitable for competant cyclists with a reasonable level of fitness. It's not technically hard but does involve a full day of riding much of which is off road. Some climbing is involved.
