Under the guidance of our forest experts, you’ll tune into details most people miss - subtle sounds, changes in temperature, movement in the canopy, textures underfoot, and the scent of the woodland itself.
There’s a growing body of research showing that time spent in natural environments like this can help reduce stress levels and lower heart rate.
Simply slowing down and engaging your senses in the forest encourages the body to shift out of a high - alert state and into a more balanced, steady rhythm. Valuable in today's, busy, often stressful world.

Forests are complex, living systems. By taking the time to stop and observe, you begin to understand them in a more direct, practical way—not just as scenery, but as active environments.
So how do we do this?
We'll spend the morning quietly walking through different parts of the forest. Observing wildlife, plants, animals, aromas, textures, colours and sounds.
We'll stop and look in greater detail at some of the small scale wonders that are happening everywhere in the forest, that usually go unnoticed.
We'll study and explain the interaction between different parts of the forest ecosystem.
The purpose of our Forest Sensory Exploration is to leave you feeling relaxed and calm but also to leave you with a far greater knowledge, understanding and appreciation of how the forest works and how important it is.
